Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using CalledIt (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. What CalledIt Is

CalledIt is a free social prediction game for football tournaments. You create or join groups, predict match scores and tournament outcomes, and compete on leaderboards with friends. CalledIt is for entertainment only.

3. No Real Money or Gambling

CalledIt does not process, hold, or facilitate any real money transactions. While groups may display a “buy-in” amount, this is a display-only feature for fun. Any financial arrangements between group members happen entirely outside the App, and CalledIt bears no responsibility for them.

CalledIt is not a gambling service. No prizes, payouts, or monetary rewards are offered by the App.

4. Your Account

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You may not create accounts for others or use automated means to create accounts.
• We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to manipulate scores, leaderboards, or predictions through automated means.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users.
• Use offensive or inappropriate display names or group names.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the App's APIs.

6. Predictions and Scoring

• Predictions lock at match kickoff and cannot be changed after that.
• Scores are calculated automatically based on official match results.
• We use third-party data providers (API-Football) for match results. While we strive for accuracy, we are not responsible for incorrect or delayed data from third parties.
• Scoring rules may be updated between tournaments. Per-group scoring rules are fixed once a tournament starts.

7. Content and Groups

Groups are created and managed by users. CalledIt does not moderate group content but reserves the right to remove groups or content that violate these terms. Group invite codes should be shared only with people you want in your group.

8. Intellectual Property

CalledIt, its logo, design, and features are owned by us. Football data, team logos, and tournament information are provided under license from their respective owners. You may share prediction cards and leaderboard images generated by the App.

9. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep CalledIt available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We will not be liable for any loss of predictions or scores due to service interruptions.

10. Limitation of Liability

CalledIt is provided “as is” without warranty. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App (which is zero, since it's free).

11. Privacy

Your use of CalledIt is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
